Along with over 20 years of experience in retirement income planning, he also holds the designation of CEP as a Certified Estate Planner in California and is insurance licensed in 14 states. Recognizing that basic financial education is not taught at home or school, Arif opened his own Total Money School in 2002. Possessing quality information is the foundation of sound decision making, and his coursework is designed to provide a basic understanding of money, how it works, and how it can and should be working for you.
He has taught financial principles as a guest speaker throughout the community at various schools, PTA events, and numerous companies through Total Money School’s Lunch-n-Learn program. Mr. Halaby has also shown a passion for community involvement and charitable outreach efforts, serving as an Executive Board Member for the Western Los Angeles Boy Scouts of America and holding a position on the Board of Governors for Providence Holy Cross Hospital.
Arif Halaby is also the host of “Total Financial Solutions Safer Money Hour” on KHTS AM-1220. Launched in 2004, the show offers listeners from Santa Clarita financial planning tips and guidance for dealing with today’s ever-changing financial needs.
