Advanced Audiology\u2019s Nola Aronson pointed out that she doesn\u2019t just enhance people\u2019s lives with hearing loss solutions, but also continues to surprise people with the many other capabilities of hearing devices today while they maintain a small size.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt just makes me so happy when somebody lights up and says, \u2018Wow, I didn\u2019t know they were so small,\u2019\u201d Aronson said. \u201c\u2018Now I can play with this app on my phone and I can control my hearing aids and I can watch TV through my hearing aids and I have my own personal headset and I can do so much with these. This is really cool.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
While some people might still believe that all hearing aids are obvious and oversized, Aronson noted that new technology has changed this in recent years.<\/p>\n
\u201cPeople go, \u2018I don\u2019t want a hearing aid because it\u2019s big and ugly,\u2019\u201d she said. \u201cWell they\u2019re so surprised when they see them, and now you have your own personal bluetooth headset.\u201d<\/p>\n
Advanced Audiology recently saw an 11-year-old patient in need of hearing aids, and she too made the assumption that they would stand out when she was with her peers.<\/p>\n
