{"id":10687,"date":"2017-12-19T10:00:33","date_gmt":"2017-12-19T18:00:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.santaclaritahomeandgardenshow.com\/upgrade\/?p=10687"},"modified":"2017-12-18T12:49:28","modified_gmt":"2017-12-18T20:49:28","slug":"buy-one-get-one-free-hearing-aid-sale-going-on-now-at-advanced-audiology-for-khts-listeners","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.santaclaritahomeandgardenshow.com\/upgrade\/home-and-garden-news\/buy-one-get-one-free-hearing-aid-sale-going-on-now-at-advanced-audiology-for-khts-listeners\/","title":{"rendered":"Buy-One-Get-One-Free Hearing Aid Sale Going On Now At Advanced Audiology For KHTS Listeners"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A special buy-one-get-one-free hearing aid sale is happening at Advanced Audiology now for customers who say they found out about it through KHTS.<\/p>\n<p>Owner Nola Aronson talked about how some people feel hearing aids are too expensive during her latest appearance on \u201cThe Senior Hour\u201d on KHTS, and so made the decision to hold the sale in the spirit of the holidays.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hometownstation.com\/santa-clarita-news\/health-and-beauty\/santa-clarita-audiologist-nola-aronson-speaks-about-the-evolution-of-hearing-aids-214428\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Santa Clarita Audiologist Nola Aronson Speaks About The Evolution Of Hearing Aids<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you say you heard this at KHTS Radio, I am going to give you my holiday special, and that is a \u2018buy one hearing aid, get one free,\u2019\u201d Aronson said, noting that this isn\u2019t just off the manufacturer\u2019s price. \u201cYou can buy one, get one free at my everyday low prices on top-of-the-line hearing airs that give you the quality of sound in a noisy environment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Santa Clarita audiologist went on to say that she wants people to be able to enjoy their families during the holidays without being held back by hearing loss.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDon\u2019t miss out on the conversation, don\u2019t stop doing things that you love to do &#8212; it\u2019s not necessary,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>For individuals who still think hearing aids are too expensive, Aronson noted that Advanced Audiology has hearing aids for every budget, adding that the prices are only a bit higher than big box stores because they are bundled with services the stores don\u2019t provide.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe reason the price is higher is because we give full service, and we make sure that it is functioning for you and your specific needs,\u201d Aronson explained. \u201cSo we spend a lot of time (with our patients).\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For instance, Aronson recently met with a patient who was thinking about getting a less expensive, mail-order hearing aid from his insurance company.<\/p>\n<p>However, when he researched what was involved in the process, the patient was surprised about the lack of personalized service.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe told me you call, you have to fax in or email in your hearing test that you get from a person like myself, then they program hearing aids for you and they send them back through the mail with a video showing you how to put them in,\u201d Aronson said.<\/p>\n<p>After he asked what he would do if they don\u2019t work properly or sound right, the patient says he was told he might be able to get them adjusted in Burbank with an appointment, or that he can send them back through the mail to have the insurance company re-program the hearing aids again.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a medical device, and it\u2019s not like eye glasses where you get your prescription and you put your eye glasses on,\u201d Aronson said. \u201cIt doesn\u2019t work like that when it comes to hearing aids\u2026 Another patient with the same problem, with the same hearing loss might react totally differently to the same exact hearing aids, but it all depends on what it sounds like once it goes in the ear.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Aronson continued, \u201cThere\u2019s no guarantee (a less expensive hearing aid will be) correct, that they\u2019re comfortable, that they even have the sound quality &#8212; so don\u2019t be fooled about price.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A special buy-one-get-one-free hearing aid sale is happening at Advanced Audiology now for customers&hellip;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":9340,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[1179],"tags":[2757,1101,2760,2912,2936,2761,3005,2935],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v20.10 -
