Making sure your child stays ahead of the academic game can often times be a difficult task. Every parent wants their child to be best of the best. That task can become much easier at SCVi Charter School in the Santa Clarita Valley. <\/span><\/p>\n

As the founding campus of the iLEAD school network, SCVi focuses on the international, leadership, entrepreneurial development, arts, and design thinking aspects of the traditional American education system. At SCVi, students from all around the Santa Clarita Valley come to this charter school to get ahead in both their academics and in life, learning more and practicing skills that students in traditional public schools don\u2019t.<\/p>\n

SCVi – The\u00a0Story Behind The Success<\/h3>\n

Inspired by Santa Clarita\u2019s reputation for its high-performing schools, founders Amber Raskin and Dawn Evenson created SCVi as a contributor to this notion. Both mothers, the duo \u2013 nicknamed \u201cDanber\u201d \u2013 envisioned something more than what their children were experiencing in a traditional public school. Both wanted to create a system of education that challenged a child, prepared them for critical thinking, and turned them into problem solvers. Thus, SCVi was opened in 2008, and has since been noted as a successful branch of the iLEAD school network. <\/span><\/p>\n
