Further, a licensed audiologist such as Aronson has expert skills in correctly fitting the hearing aid to the client.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cWhat people don\u2019t realize is, yes you\u2019ll find hearing aids less expensive online because you\u2019re only finding a hearing aid &#8212; you\u2019re not finding a person to fit it, you\u2019re not finding any service with it,\u201d Aronson said.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">She added, \u201cHearing aids have to be fit correctly in the ear. If you think the hearing aid is too tinny, how are going to get that changed if there\u2019s nowhere for you to (go)?\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">If you\u2019ve heard of others who don\u2019t wear their hearing aids because they don\u2019t work, Aronson says it\u2019s because they decided to order online or go to a big box store.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cEverybody says, \u2018Oh, these don\u2019t work,\u2019\u201d she explained. \u201cThat\u2019s because they didn\u2019t go to the right person, the person that follows them along and takes care of them the whole time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u00a0Not only does Aronson have 30 years of experience in the Santa Clarita Valley and 40 years of experience as an audiologist, Aronson has her state licensing in Audiology and hearing aid dispensing.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In addition, she received her Master\u2019s Degree in Audiology from California State University, Long Beach and has certifications of clinical competence from the American Hearing and Speech Association and the American Academy of Audiology.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Like many audiologists today, Aronson is currently faced with a tough decision on whether or not to unbundle her prices in an effort to lower the cost of the actual hearing aid. However, Aronson maintained that she doesn\u2019t believe it should cost her clients every time they need service.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cThat\u2019s my philosophy. I\u2019m so used to giving my services away and making it so that people are successful with their hearing so they can lead a better social life,\u201d she said. \u201cIt\u2019s really hard for me to change my ways.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hometownstation.com\/tag\/advanced-audiology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><i>Advanced Audiology<\/i><\/a><i> was founded in 2010 by Santa Clarita audiologist Nola Aronson, who has been fitting hearing aids for more than 30 years.
