Santa Clarita Audiologist Nola Aronson

As sponsor of the 2018 Sierra Pelona Valley Wine Festival, Nola Aronson’s Advanced Audiology promoted the charitable event during a recent episode of “The Senior Hour” on KHTS.

Set for Saturday from 12 to 4 p.m. at Reyes Winery on Sierra Highway in Santa Clarita, the 6th annual Sierra Pelona Valley Wine Festival will benefit the Zonta Club of Santa Clarita Valley this year.

“Advanced Audiology has taken on a role to be more involved in our community,” Aronson said regarding her stage sponsorship of the festival. “Our community is very philanthropic and our community loves wine and having fun, and we love helping other people.”

Not only does the Sierra Pelona Valley Wine Festival offer tastings from a number of wineries and local wine makers, attendees can also enjoy gourmet food and specialty item sampling, live music, auctions, handmade crafts from local artisans and more.

“It’s been really exciting; we’ve got a lot of new vendors,” said Beth Heiserman of Reyes Winery. “Mercedes Benz is donating the wine glasses and the wine bags this year, so when you go home you’ll have something nice to take home with you.”

Attendees are expected to receive the specialty event glass, along with a specialty gift bag, wine and food sampling, an event plate and free parking.

Tickets are available online for general admission pre-pay at $85 each and “Designated Driver” at $40. Group packages for 20 general admission tickets are available for $1,300.

The Sierra Pelona Vintners Association website is also accepting donations directly for the Zonta Club of Santa Clarita Valley, the local chapter of a leading global organization of professionals empowering women worldwide through service and advocacy.

“Beth and I have been doing this a number of years at Reyes Winery,” said Aronson. “It’s always a fabulous event, and I love to help out. And this is a good cause this year with helping women.”
