The SCV Chamber of Commerce has named Nola Aronson’s Advanced Audiology as the 2019 Business of the Year, recognizing the small business during an awards dinner last month.
Though the chamber’s Business Choice award winners were formally announced in December, those selected were honored during the 97th Annual Awards and Installation Dinner on Jan. 24 at the Hyatt Regency Valencia.
“I’m quite honored I won the best business of the year at the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber,” said Aronson after the event.
With 33 years and counting in the Santa Clarita Valley, Aronson and the Advanced Audiology team have decades of trusted experience, and they regularly participate in continuing education efforts in order to follow the newest advancements in technology for hearing loss solutions.

Rather than just “selling” hearing aids, Advanced Audiology has a reputation for giving free hearing screenings to the community, offering patient education and providing a wide range of “invisible” hearing loss solutions that use the “exact match hearing process.”
Countless doctors from the Santa Clarita Valley turn to Aronson for their own hearing needs, and send their families and patients to Advanced Audiology too.
Dr. Gene Dorio, who co-hosts KHTS Radio’s “The Senior Hour,” sponsored by Advanced Audiology, expressed his belief that Aronson’s Advanced Audiology is “very deserving” of the SCV Chamber of Commerce award and recognition.
“(It’s) not just the quality of care that you give my patients, but also in addition, what you do in this community, Nola, is totally outstanding,” Dorio said to Aronson during a recent show. “I think that when they’re honoring you, they are (honoring) different aspects of what you do for everybody around you.”
Aronson continues to donate 10 percent of hearing aid sale proceeds to a different nonprofit in the community every month.
“When you purchase a hearing aid through Advanced Audiology, you are also giving back to your community,” said Aronson, listing the Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center, Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley and Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital as examples of several nonprofits she donates to on a regular basis.
Additionally, Aronson is a member of the board of directors for the nonprofit Valley Industry Association and Circle of Hope, where she also serves as vice president.
