Amidst the financial turmoil and continued public health crisis, Santa Clarita Water Agency SCV Water aims to support community members who are having difficulties paying their water utility bill with payment plan options.
SCV Water, the Santa Clarita water agency, reports that, in addition to suspending service fees and shut-offs of water services for the time being, they will begin offering payment plan options to those “struggling due to loss of income during this challenging public health crisis.”
The Santa Clarita water agency hopes to help their customers “avoid building up large balances” in the future.
“We are reaching out in understanding to our customers who have fallen behind in payments,” said officials from SCV Water. “Please call and let us work with you to establish a payment plan you can afford.”
Because of ongoing health concerns, SCV Water’s Customer Care lobbies, as well as most areas normally open to the public, will be closed until further notice. However, external drop-boxes will remain accessible and in-person appointments can be scheduled by appointment only.
