Nola Aronson of Advanced Audiology is getting ready to hold a special open house event at her Valencia office next week, the Santa Clarita audiologist announced Friday.
Scheduled for Sept. 11 and 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. with a lunch break, the event is expected to feature an Oticon hearing aid designed for anyone looking for a simplistic way to correct their hearing loss.
“Oticon has been around 150 years, and they have this … wonderful hearing aid that is not complicated — it’s a very simple type of hearing aid,” said Aronson.
Aronson noted that appointments are required to take part in the open house, and that attendees will be offered special pricing during the event only, in addition to the opportunity to win a George Foreman grill.
Further, those who participate in the open house can also get a free hearing screening and education, which is offered year-round at Advanced Audiology.
Often people will regularly have their eyes, teeth and heart checked by doctors, but Aronson noted that the same consideration isn’t usually given to getting hearing checked too.
“We do free hearings screenings so you can get a baseline to see where your hearing is at,” Aronson said. “We’re not just there to ‘sell’ hearing aids — we’re there to educate people about how to improve their communication skills and their social lives and just so you have more knowledge about where you’re at.”
