Security Bancorp has been serving California residents for more than 25 years, including Santa Clarita. They are family owned and licensed by the California Department of Real Estate. Security Bancorp obtained the HUD approval as a Title II correspondent in 1997.
The prime focus of Security Bancorp, since its inception, has been to serve the low to moderate income consumer’s real estate financing needs, catering to the needs of the Hispanic community in California, which has been growing rapidly.
The founders of Security Bancorp’s are Rebecca Uribe and Laura Uribe. They are both bilingual and bicultural and understand well the nuances specific to the Hispanic community.

Rebecca and Laura were inspired to create a 30-minute infomercial in Spanish to help educate on the substantial economic and social benefits of homeownership. This infomercial provides information about the home buying process, explaining the different loan programs available, as well as educating first-time homebuyers on the true cost of homeownership.
In 2000, the infomercial aired on several local Spanish Language Television stations and it received an overwhelming response. Security Bancorp was propelled to become a preferred mortgage partner for the CRA Program (Community Reinvestment Act) due to the increased interest generated by the infomercial.
Security Bancorp continues its emphasis on education by hosting home financing seminars to first-time homebuyers, homeowners and real estate professionals.
Security Bancorp is passionate about educating the community on the value of homeownership and they look forward to continuing to provide access to safe, affordable and low down payment mortgages, contributing to the overall revitalization and growth of our local economy.

We hope you can join us at the 2023 KHTS Home and Garden Show at Central Park on April 29th and 30th, 2023 at one of the largest California Home and Garden Shows right here in Santa Clarita! Scheduled for 2023 is the KHTS Emergency Expo, Kids Zone, Food Trucks, and the KHTS Marketplace, which includes the Santa Clarita Arts & Craft Fair. All are free admission and all part of the 2023 Santa Clarita Home and Garden Show, one of the largest California Home Shows.
