Kona Ice has been serving their delicious shaved ice to Santa Clarita since 2011. They pride themselves in servicing the community in as many ways as possible, aiming to put smiles on all their customer’s faces. They gladly give back 20% of their proceeds to non-profit organizations. Their care for the community is unmatched and is part of the reason they are so renowned.

Kona Ice serves true Hawaiian flavors in their shaved ice in a vibrant and fun food truck. Their name “Kona,” means leeward in Hawaiian. Kona was started in 2007. The owner thought, “ice cream trucks are creepy. What if we sold shaved ice off of a truck that was super fun and inviting?” Although it was started in Kentucky, they are heavily influenced by Hawaiian shaved ice and their name is a representation of it.
Their tropical shaved ice truck can be seen from a distance, as their always vibrant music and the lively environment they create is contagious. They prioritize giving back to the community as they can be found at fundraisers, schools, and sporting events. They specialize in fun so if you’re going to a party or event, Kona Ice may show up.

Kona Ice serves delicious and refreshing snow cones, and their care for the community is unrivaled. People may be fooled into thinking Kona Ice is extremely sugary and high in calories, but they are extremely health conscious as they use natural flavors in their shaved ice with fruit as the main ingredient.
In the hot summers of Santa Clarita, there will be times where a refreshing, ice cold snack is needed. This is where Kona comes in, as a healthier alternative to ice cream, they are able to give a Hawaiian taste to the Santa Clarita community and serve smiles on people’s faces, young and old.
