It does take a bit longer to get the finished product, but the farm deems it necessary to obtain the highest quality of honey.
With honey being the pride and joy of the farm, they do also run a honey extracting business to help out some of the smaller operation beekeepers. The farm runs a 20 cent per pound for their services, but they do keep the wax caps. There is also honey bottling and private labeling services offered for beekeepers and other as well. Products that are sold to people include Honey Bee Pollen, a 12oz creamed honey jar, a bag or case of honey sticks, and even Honey BBQ Sauce.
