Their whole-house fans are distributed by three different businesses in Santa Clarita, and another seven businesses within 50 miles of Santa Clarita city limits.
The founder of the company was installing a whole-house fan for a customer in 1999, when the customer wished for a more quiet fan. Only four years later, the first QuietCool fan, QC-1500, was on the market and ready for sale. In 2009, QC Manufacturing Inc was awarded their first patent for their quiet whole-house fan system.
A push for more energy efficient whole-house fans in 2011 led to QuietCool’s Energy Saver line of fans. After a decade of hard work, QC Manufacturing Inc moved to a 50,000-square-foot building in Temecula, CA.
Since 2014 their fans have been distributed worldwide. Wholesale begun with the introduction of their Pro Series of fans. A year later the Pro Series was updated to have an even greater range of airflow.
In 2017, the company changed the whole-house fan industry. With the introduction of Wi-Fi Smart Control accessory, any QuietCool whole-house fan can be controlled with a smartphone or tablet. QuietCool also introduced a brand new 10-speed fan with a built in thermostat and humidistat, called the Smart Attic Gable. QuietCool also manufactured a new model, 5400, to bridge the gap between their two existing models, the 4700 and 6400.
QuietCool is committed to pushing themselves and their industry forward. As evident by their history, QuietCool presses to improve designs, efficiency, and processes. QuietCool claims their core values are integrity, diligence, and innovation.
Their entire line of whole-house fans and their accessories are designed to be easily installed by oneself or a hired hand. Their products come with very detailed, full-color written instructions for the DIY-inclined customers.
QuietCool whole-house fans operate when the atmosphere outside a residence is cooler than the inside. Once activated, the fan pulls cool air from outside, through recommended open windows, and expels hot air into the attic. Windows should be opened where consumers first wish to cool.
