The Way Out Recovery SCV in Santa Clarita is a drug and alcohol outpatient treatment center that provides high quality, effective treatment to those suffering from addictive disorders.
Their goal is to assist adolescents, adults and their loved ones in gaining strength, love, support, hope, and most importantly, sobriety through recovery.
Addiction can can wreak havoc on not only the addict but the entire family. Co-founders, Marc and Teresa Berman have firsthand experience with the challenges of addiction as they have maintained many years of long-term sobriety. The Bermans opened The Way Out Recovery SCV with the hope of having a treatment center that will help individuals, families and the community of Santa Clarita for many generations.
The Way Out Recovery SCV will asses their client’s severity of addiction in order to design an effective course of action specific to that individual. An appropriate setting will provide a safe, confidential space for clients and their families to begin healing.
The Way Out Recovery SCV provides confidential counseling that will address the disease, consequences of use, cross-addiction, relapse prevention, introduce 12-step approaches, build support, identify negative and positive peer influence, manage stress and utilize healthy coping skills.
In addition to providing counseling for their clients, The Way Out Recovery SCV also provides confidential group counseling for families affected by addiction. They will assist in providing tools for healthy communication, conflict resolution and supportive interactions. A strong, healthy support system on all levels is key to breaking the vicious cycle of addiction.
