For the past 29 years, Michael Frazier has made redwood furniture of his own design merging avant-garde design with a commitment to environmental sustainability.
Michael Frazier Designs only uses forest-friendly, farm-grown redwood. Redwood is the best wood to use because it’s the fastest growing crop tree in the United States. Redwood is an all-natural, renewable resource with a combination of beauty, warmth, durability and versatility that is not found in other building materials.
Chinese Tung oil is used to finish table sets which is not only organic, green and sustainable, but it completely waterproofs. Tung oil carries resins and driers deep into the pores of the redwood to practically become part of the wood. Once dried, the oil becomes armor-like creating a beautiful surface.
There is no factory or assembly line here. Every single piece is custom designed and built to fit the comfort and needs for your family or business.
A Vermont woodworker magazine has stated that Michael makes the finest redwood furniture available in the world. Michael was awarded 1st place in the woodworking category at the Fiesta Hermosa in Hermosa, CA.
