Mr. M’s Woodshop
Seeking quality cutting boards, cheese boards, and engraved boards? Look no further than Mr. M’s Woodshop, run by longtime woodworker Henry Mowry from his Santa Clarita, California garage. Mr. M has created woodworks since his days in the theatre department at the University of Missouri, and since then he’s developed his skills making a variety of projects, including tables, entertainment centers, baby cradles, and bookcases. However, cutting boards of all sorts is Mr. M’s passion, and he hopes to share his creations with the public at the 2015 Home and Garden Show at the Hyatt Regency in Valencia on April 25 and 26.
Mr. M, however, is no stranger to the swap meet and garden show circuit – he turned his passion for creating boards into a business after selling his first one at a craft fair on March 22, 2014. Since then, he’s studied cutting boards sold at retail and other outlets to figure out what makes a quality product, and how to deliver that with every single order.

Mr. M’s Woodshop Creates Quality Cutting Boards, Cheese Boards, And Engraved Boards
Mr. M makes three types of boards: cutting boards, cheese boards, and engraved boards. Mr. M has learned to make cutting boards in all sorts of shapes and sizes, and you can even choose the type of wood you want. You can find boards made from black walnut, honey locust, cherry, and maple wood on Mr. M’s website – sometimes he uses several types of wood in one board to get a refined, distinct look that would elevate the culinary ambiance of any kitchen.
The cheeseboards from Mr. M’s Woodshop have rubber finger holds and non-skid rubber feet held with stainless steel screws for longevity. Although prices vary with the size of the board, the wood used, and the complexity of the design, Mr. M’s cheeseboards typically cost between $30 and $60.
You can also personalize your order with engraved boards from Mr. M. You’ll be amazed by the beautiful and intricate designs of these products, which typically take three weeks to make.
All of these boards make great gifts for any special occasion. SCV and Southern California residents can view all that Mr. M has to offer when his woodshop comes to the Santa Clarita Home and Garden Show at the Hyatt Regency on April 25 and 26.
