e-Pulse Ultra uses Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) which is the use of electric current produced by a device to stimulate the nerves for therapeutic purposes. TENS helps people with chronic pain or acute pain by stimulating the nerve endings in in order to modulate or suppress pain signals in the brain.
