Action Family Counseling

Action Family Counseling, located on Soledad Canyon Road in the Santa Clarita Valley, provides mental health services for adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of treatment settings. This nonprofit uses an effective, multidisciplinary approach to stabilize co-occurring illnesses and change behavior patterns in clients. Adolescents, adults, and their families will finally achieve the stability and security they need with the principles and philosophies they learn through Action Family Counseling in a supportive, caring environment. Clients and families can easily practice these philosophies in their daily lives and use them to strengthen their relationships and address daily challenges long after they have left the treatment center.
Action Family Counseling was founded by Cary Quashen, who has dedicated over 30 years to helping troubled teens and dysfunctional families overcome mental health challenges. Currently the Executive Director of the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital Behavioral Health Unit, Quashen has consulted with several hospitals in the Southern California area to develop his acclaimed Action Family Counseling program. This program relies on the 12-Step Model to successfully help clients maintain abstinence from chemical dependency, achieve mental health stabilization, and experience personal growth.
