They have humble origins as a small shutter retailer in 1976, then went on to manufacturing in 1979. They now continue to offer the highest quality products to thoroughly satisfy their customers in every aspect of their business. With 30 years of experience they are still going strong in their new state-of-the-art 104,000 square foot facility in Van Nuys, California. They can service up to 500 customers all over the state including many people in the Santa Clarita Valley. Danmer Shutters Made With Thermalite
In 1987, a concern was addressed regarding the environmental impact of abusing natural resources in the window shutter industry. The concern was facilitated with the help of a new material, developed by David Neiman called Thermalite. Thermalite shutters look and feel just like wooden shutters, with the added benefit of being 100% non-toxic, flame retardant, and water-resistant synthetic.
Large companies like Broadway, Weinstock, Emporium, Macy’s, Strouds, and Coldwell Bankers were impressed with the customer service and satisfaction produced by Danmer Shutters in the 80’s and 90’s further expanding their already popular business. They are also the only California League of Homeowners approved shutter manufacturer at this time.
All the personnel of Danmer Shutters are dedicated to helping the individual customer make the most intelligent decisions for their home. They are able to provide them with helpful and knowledgeable advice to guide them to the shutters they didn’t know the wanted. This commitment to the employee is crucial for a company, which is growing at this rate.
