Origami Owl
Origami Owl is a custom jewelry company, first started by a young girl with a big dream. It started when Isabella “Bella” Weems, a girl who was only 14, had the idea of starting her own company, simply to save up to buy her own car. She saved up her babysitting money, and with help from her parents she started her custom jewelry idea. The Company has now grown to be worth several million dollars with designers from all over the country representing them. This includes the community of Santa Clarita who will be having them at the next Santa Clarita Home and Garden Show to promote their unique business.
Bella’s jewelry business has a cast of close family and business minds behind her. The Origami Owl executive team includes Weems’ mother, Chrissy, who is co-founder and worked with her on the company’s product design team. Nowadays she plays a supporting role.
This family business sprouted and flourished when they decided to continue on as a direct selling company. This type of family business is valued highly in the Santa Clarita Valley.

Today, Origami Owl has more than 60,000 Independent Designers who pursue their own dreams by selling their unique jewelry at home parties they like to call Jewelry Bars. Since its inception Origami Owl has been so much more than just a jewelry company. Bella always meant for it to be a force for good. She wants the company to help others achieve their dreams the same way she did. Bella worked hard and her small business went from being an after school job to a multi-million dollar company.
